Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – To better serve our growing customer base across the Asia region, Cyklop is proud to announce a significant expansion of our manufacturing footprint. The Cyklop Board of Directors recently convened for the official groundbreaking ceremony of our newest PET manufacturing plant on 19 January 2026.

The event was marked by the presence of our esteemed Guest of Honor, Mr Sherulanuar Abd Karim - Director MIDA Selangor, signalling a new chapter in Cyklop’s commitment to regional industrial growth.

‍Boosting Capacity and Innovation

This new facility is more than just an expansion; it is a leap forward in production technology.

• Scale: Spanning 46,000 sqm, the plant is designed to cater to the increasing PET needs in the Asia region.
• Impact: Once operational, this facility will increase our total PET manufacturing capacity by more than 200%
• Quality: Equipped with the latest advancements in PET processing, the new site ensures Cyklop PET strap remains the best in class for durability and high-performance tensioning.

The construction is part of a strategic roadmap to modernize our supply chain and provide faster, more sustainable packaging solutions to our partners.

The plant is scheduled for completion by 2027.

Cyklop’s 2026 Strategic Roadmap

The Board of Directors also conducted a comprehensive tour of the existing manufacturing facility. During an on-site strategy session, leadership finalized Cyklop’s 2026 roadmap— focusing on product innovation and sustainable materials.
