HELMOND, The Netherlands (June 03, 2025) – Cyklop has recently introduced a new  Diamond recyclable paper tape dispenser to complement its extensive portfolio of packaging solutions and services. Cyklop’s Diamond water-activated (WAT) gummed paper tape and tape dispensers are commercially available throughout the world for manufacturers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in a wide range of industry sectors.

Iatcov explained that paper tape is the preferred environmentally friendly solution for closing cardboard and corrugated paper boxes. Paper tape is available in both a self-adhesive format and a gummed paper format. Gummed paper tape sticks to the box’s surface only after the adhesive layer is activated with water. Thus, a special paper tape dispenser is required for application. After use, both the packaging box and the tape can be recycled.

“Because of its direct and strong adhesive qualities, paper tape is highly suitable for heavy packaging. Another major advantage of paper tape is that it cannot be removed without damaging the box, so it helps safeguard the contents against theft.This makes WAT ideal for high-value or sensitive shipments,” Iatcov said.
