HELMOND, The Netherlands (Aug 14, 2025) –  Cyklop has launched the OmniStrap 380, a handheld, battery-operated strapping tool for plastic strap, designed to meet the demands of global packaging operations across a wide range of industries. The 380 is meant for universal applications while delivering improved tensioning, sealing, and cutting functions in a single, user-friendly device. This product is not available in the United States.

Cyklop’s OmniStrap 380 strapping hand tool is cost-effective, simplifies the strapping process, reduces handling time, and increases operational efficiencies. The tool is used for attaching plastic straps to a box or pallet for secure transport and storage.

The OmniStrap 380 is compatible with polyethylene (PP) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) straps ranging from 12 millimeters to 16 millimeters wide.  The 380’s strap tension can be adjusted from 500 N up to 4500 N.

Because no power cord is needed, this portable strapping device can easily be used in different areas within a facility or taken to another facility if needed.

“The OmniStrap 380 weighs only 3.92 kilograms and is ergonomically balanced, ensuring comfortable and quick operation for the user. It is an affordable and effective option for lighter duty applications, but still provides exceptional tensioning, sealing, and cutting,” commented Ina Iactov, Cyklop’s product manager for strapping tools.

“Introducing this new strapping device demonstrates our ongoing commitment to addressing our customers’ needs for streamlining their packaging operations while also providing them flexibility, safety, and efficiency in how and where they work,” Iactov added.
